One week down already- I can not believe it. Had a very slow start to the week recovering from New Years Eve (and I still think a bit of a hangover from the lead up to and Christmas/Boxing Day).
Friday: was spent slothing on the couch, eating leftovers (STILL) with Molly not being well. Nor was dad.
Not a very exciting start to this Blog that is for sure!

Saturday: bought with it renewed energy levels and a tea party for 2!
Mini oreos and jam drops were the hit of the party, and the tea (water) was a top brew.

Sunday: energy levels continued to rise and a ride around the block after dinner to visit Harry the dog, who lives with his 93 year old owner around the corner from us, resulted in a pretty typical dad-carrying-the-bike episode and Molly dawddling, complete with helmet still intact.

Monday: dad took the extra day off and we celebrated (commiserated?) the last days of the holidays with (well firstly a trip to the doctors to make sure Molly didnt have measles- just a viral rash thank goodness) a trip to Henley for a shell-collecting walk along the beach, followed by fish and chips and cold rolls and chicken hokein noodles, all washed down with gelati. A perfect way to end the holidays.

Tuesday: back to work bagh. My busiest time of the year at work but geeeez it was quiet! Oh so quiet! I listened to the fountain splashing all day- blissful. Here is the view from my window- all the way down to the bay.

Wednesday: a very hot and busy Little Spunky Monkey day with finishing a big order and delivering it to a lovely lady. Alice visited in the afternoon which was filled with dinosaur books, coffee, drawing, watermelon, rocking chairs, pastries, a little bit of cabin feever and cubby houses.

Thursday: back to work and hot hot hot. Famous open rocket steak sandwiches AGAIN tonight, all with a glass of Nepenthe's finest. Yummo.
So one week down, 51 to go. Next week will bring lots of swimming in the heat, an engagement party, moving offices at work, Southport and a birthday party.
